Yes very quiet here--and I am very guilty of not posting much at all! Very busy lately (as is everyone else too!). I did screen a 16mm print last evening...the 1983 teen comedy with a young Nicholas Cage and Deborah Foreman.
Great soundtrack for those who like 1980's music. I will post pics soon along with some interesting details on this film.

I'm afraid this is the "Quiet" time for reel film, the middle months are the hardest for myself as a dealer, light nights, not everyone have a dedicated set up with blackouts (although I do know of a few!), and the imminent school holidays coming up in July/August,this all contributes to the Forum being very quiet, but you do need something to talk about. Apart from the recent BFCC coming back, and the news of a few new limited 8mm releases (which are really only for dedicated collectors, with deep pockets!) coming out, news and gossip seems to be very limited at the moment. I haven't really got a fix, I like to contribute when I can, but some subjects that come up are still out of "Wheelhouse", and if you know hardly anything about a topic, then there's no point chiming in, in my opinion, leave it to people who actually know about it!

Most postings are about films.
I don't collect anymore, and am slowly selling off. Therefore, I can't really make any contributions.

Maurice, was your film collection all gauges or mainly 8mm?

It is always sad to hear that collectors are slowly selling there collection but as I understand it Maurice, you have been collecting for decades.
At least you will free up some room in your home now.
