Hi,

I recently put a couple of films on Ebay but when I search for 'Super 8 films' like I normally do I struggle to see them after looking through page after page. Under format I put them as Super 8 and put super 8 feature in the title. I've also updated the listing several times but still no effect. Also under the category it says DVDs, Films & TV > Other Formats. Is this correct or should it be to film stock.

Any tips on the best way to be viewed by most.

That's definitely the correct identifier, Graham, ie DVDs/Other or Film Stock. I think I've experienced that before where you can't easily search your own items for sale. It might be related to cookies. I already saw your posts so everything seems fine.

And there's a bid on the "Carry On".

Thanks Maurice and Martin, yes those are my films I'm selling. I've bought from Ebay for years but never sold any until now. Took me ages to list them as I kept getting problems from Ebay but it went through in the end.

Yes I had trouble finding them with just a basic search thinking about anybody who just browse for films in general rather than specific titles. I just wanted to make sure it was in the right category from those who have sold plenty of films on Ebay.

May I suggest that for any future sales that you start with the words "Super 8 sound film." Then follow with the details of the film in the heading.
When I search for films I always start with the words:-
!6mm sound film
Super 8 sound film
All films in that category should then list, I then go to "Newly Listed".
