This has been running since September, but entries are very poor at the moment, so I thought it was time to list it direct onto the Forum.

There are 15 questions relating to films from the 1970’s, 1980’s and the 1990’s.

The 1970’s

The 1980’s

Q12) Name the 1991 sequel starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton & Edward Furlong
Q13) Name the 1996 sci-fi film starring Will Smith, Bill Pullman & Jeff Goldblum
Q14) Name the 1991 animated Don Bluth feature with the voices of Glen Campbell & Christopher Plummer
Q15) Name the 1994 action thriller starring Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock and Dennis Hopper

The prizes are down to you, for every correct entry I will put £2 into the winners’ pot, so the more correct entries the bigger and more prizes can be awarded. As a help all the films listed are available on super 8, so that should be a big help (along with IMDB), entries close on 31st December 2020.

I just dont get this, the amount of people in this hobby, surely there's more than 15!!!!
It's free to enter, you have nothing to lose and surely for those who say they dont have time? It took me a whole 15-20 minutes, now there's a sort of lockdown again, i cant see that time plays any part in this.

Eivind, yes it's good that more people have entered, but as this quiz has already been running 2 months, I was expecting a lot more entries by now!

Have you considered posting info about the quiz on Facebook groups, Barry? I think that will give it quite a bit more attention. Many are on Facebook only these days.

I have no accounts for the likes of Facebook and Twitter, I guess I'm a bit of a Dinosaur like that, and to tell the truth I doubt if I'll ever join, if people can't see my quiz on the most open of forums, the Internet, then I doubt that advertising it on other media would make much difference, basically I'm coming to the conclusion that some people are lazy or indifferent, and whatever you try to get them to join in with, it's no use as they live in their own little world, which is OK with me, but it's also very disheartening that you can't get through to them at the same time.

Oh well, those who've entered have had fun (a lot have told me so!), and that's the main aim, isn't it! I suppose I'll do it again, as I have fun setting the competitions myself!

I can post your quiz to a couple of Facebook groups if you like.

I dont personaly use facebook much. I just wondered if theres a reason why collectors happily use facebook but not the forum so much.

If anyone would like to put the competition on Facebook or the like that's OK with me, not sure how much extra interest it will generate though! Still we can but try.

I posted info about it at a couple of groups now. I hope it has some effect!

As of this morning I've had 29 entries, which considering the competition has been running now for over 3 months is very poor indeed, so if anyone else wants to have a go you've got till the end of the year to enter!
