well on 16mm I screened James Stewart and Josephine Hull in the wonderful Universal comedy - Harvey - and id forgotten how funny it is - with a wonderful performance from Mr Stewart as Elwood P Dowd. Followed by California Suite - an all star cast including the now infamous Bill Cosby ! But it does have some great performances from our own Maggie Smith and Michael Caine as well as Jane Fonda and Walter Matthau.

I haven't seen that film, but I like most of James Stewart's films. Seems like a great film from the star lineup!

Eivind,

I hope you didn't get confused as Michael Caine, Maggie Smith, Jane Fonda and Walter Matthau are in California Suite. The James Stewart film Harvey is about his friendship with a six foot invisible rabbit.

You are right! I got confused :-) Thanks for the heads up :-) Sounds like an unusual film with an invisible rabbit :-)
