We plan on converting the forum to "https" on Monday 5 November at 10:00 am CST. According to the forum hosting service, this process will occur in the background and without any loss of access to the site.

We believe the forum will be fully accessible while these changes happen behind the scenes. However, if the forum is not available or if there are other issues, this could be the reason why, and of course will be addressed as needed.

Https is a security extension used to ensure all communications between your browser and the forum are encrypted. This will provide increased security to the site and its data.

As a forum member, this change should be "invisible". You should be able to access the site without having to do anything differently. Once this conversion is complete, we will post another announcement.
