Hello everyone, I don't know if anyone can help me, I don't live in the US so I can't purchase any film stock nor do I have the equipment, but I am looking for the 3 hour long version of Cleopatra, which was the general release version back in 1963, does anyone know how I can get it on dvd?

hello, thank you for replying, I have the second link dvd and it's the 4 hour version, the 3 hour version has never been commercially released. What happened was this: Fox ordered the movie cut to 3 hours to get more showings, so basically the 3 hour version is what was shown in theaters worldwide and in most of America, but was never transferred to tv or video in any way, so the only way to find it would be to find one of the reels.

I gathered it must have been a rarity on DVD for the version you seek but while I have yet to find a three hour version, the second one I posted is supposedly 3 hrs 12 minutes only Ramon.
