I understand why its being done but i dont understand why people are joining without using there real names from the start.
Its been OK up till now.

If anyone wants to hide under a nickname or join and not contribute then they ain't worth having on here.

Aside that, (i'm not saying this is the case here), people can use forums for the wrong reasons when they dont give over there real names..

I think mostly is so by convention. Up until I joined this forum I had not been member on a single forum where the real name was the most common choice. I registered as eivindm here and was told to give my full name which was OK off course. I just hadn't thought about it. But real names are nice, I agree.

Few more days until I delete some non response members
They will be gone after a little time

We have had a lot join up recently, but most don't even say 'Hello'; do they own any films and a projector, or are they just joining any group on the internet regardless of what subject it caters for? Was the plan to delete non poster after 1 year abandoned, as someone made their first post 2 years after joining.

I won’t be deleting non posting members, feel free to do so after a year, but on response to real names will be deleted

Anybody with nicks, do send your full name if you want to stay on

At the end of the day we are a small community so I really don't see the need to hide your real name. It's always nice to know who you are actually talking/responding to, just my point of view.
