Hello everyone
I just want to share this, I just finalized the repairs of my flee market EIKI projektor, i had to replace more or less all belts, re lubricate a lot of parts that were stuck due to 50 year old oil that has become like glue, i also had to check all the electrolytic capacitors in the amplifier as i had quite a lot of hum in the audio, to be honest, i expected more problems, and that further adjustments would be required, so i was quite exited when i received my testfilms, and i have to admit, to my surprice, i only had to align the lens angle to get an even focus, and the film preasure foot (not the correct name), and once that had been done, the Films just run thru the projector without problems, and the happines was total.
So now i feel the urge to buy lots of films, and i actually didn't realize, until now, how much fun it is to watch films.
So im happy to have a working projector, but fixing it was actually quite fun as well.
Best Regards Mikael
