My first outdoor screening of 2016

#1 by Michael Lattavo , Sun Jun 19, 2016 9:18 pm

Re-located my setup this year, watched Lion King followed by The Mummy. Plan to keep the frame for the screen assembled and stored in the barn all summer, that way all I have to do is drag the frame out, lay it on the ground, and attach the screen! Will try to attach some pics....

Plenty of room there for an audience! Do you have an external speaker setup, Michael?

Thanks! I used the self powered speakers from my basement - sound was decent, but wish I had more powerful speakers. The large barn where the screen is located has no electricity, so staged projector and mixer at the side of my small barn. Worked out great! And neighbors are too far away to be bothered by the noise.

Well done Michael, it was always one of my want to do at some point in time wishes. Did you have an audience or was it just for your own benefit, either way great job done

Started off just my two boys and I (who were SUPER-EXCITED to be allowed to stay up so late!), my wife and sister soon joined in too.

I've got to say, this is the easiest site to add photos to! No cropping, no re-sizing, etc. Pretty awesome!

Great pics there Michael, Vidar's forum is the easiest to put pictures on, and the friendliest too, nice to see a new member being
so prolific, spot on my son. Keep up the good work, and the piccies.
