WHAT TO DO ON A WET DAY

#1 by Gwyn Morgan , Sat Mar 26, 2016 9:03 am

Well the madness has got to me and I made a decision that has been on my mind the last few weeks.Well what on earth is that you may well ask -get rid of all my films--- NO--- turn my attic cinema around 180 degrees so I can have a longer " throw" plus a bigger screen .Well great idea, not only does it require the complete reversal of all wiring to a number of those disc players but new screen building and a general mess.Hope to be finished ......soon
So much film everywhere still seemed like a good idea yesterday in the sun.
Right back to work.📽📽📽📽📽

Well done Gwyn, lets hope the sun doesn't come out until its sorted. As to Andrew's question............ you could make some boxes.
Take a look at the Bakers Purina dog mixer, it comes in a nice size box that only needs cutting down in height to make a decent strong box to house four to five 600' spools. Get weaving Andy.

Thanks all for your wise words and ideas, had a great time smashing up an old television cabinet I was using to store "stuff".
Things moving along slowly but surely with words of encouragement from she who must be obeyed......" Do you really need this haven't you got enough films?"........."eh yes no"😂😂😂😂😂📽📽📽📽📽📽

I can never really say anything to my missus when she complains about the amount of gear I harbour. She's always right and is very low maintenance. Not materialistic at all.
She is one of the few women I know who hates walking around shopping malls and the likes.
She much prefers time spent in a nice park etc with our dog and me.

Her philosophy in life is "if ain't got a heartbeat, it don't matter".

I don't think you'll find too many of us collector types, with a similar philosophy in life! Ha ha ha.
