There is a B&H DCT being offered for sale local to me, the seller's advert says:

"This Super 8 Film Projector appears to be in good working condition but requires a new 150w 15v light bulb. It also has no spools or films to try it out. It comes with two leads". The asking price is AU $28 or about £14.00

Is this projector any good and is it good value?

John, run and grab it as fast as you can, this is the top of the range super 8 Bell & Howell, it has an 800' capacity, and has 2 line outs which with a suitable amplifier turn the machine into Stereo. The Bell and Howell's have one of the best pathways as well, and will cope with any type of film stock, and they hardly ever go wrong. I actually use one to check all my films I sell.

It's a great machine.

can transfer track to track,
Play Stereo tracks and has high and low settings for the lamp.

Yes very good machine for a Sankyo. However all that "plastic" ...YUK !!!! hahahahaha !!!

BUY IT !!! If its in good working order. A bargain at that price.

Even for to use it as spares, £14.00 is no money, just take it and run John.

Well I got the projector today for $25 (£11.55) seems to be in nice condition, later on I'll stick a bulb in it and see how it goes.

Unfortunately no manual. Does anyone have a pdf copy?

YES ! Good luck there John I hope it works out fine at that SUPER BARGAIN price.

It's a good machine, it is still worth the money even if it needs a little work.
It's worth this price to have even just for a spares machine IMHO.
