I put a new link to the main page. The old link pointed to the oils, which is now gone :-(

It does appear a totally digital set up now for Jackroe as i suppose we can only expect for a professional outfit serving today's Cinema needs.
I do hope though that they continue to act as UK distributors for Filmguard. We need that stuff to be around for many a moon yet!

Just got the reply that they still do 35mm equipment. Hopefully I get confirmation that they also do the Film Guard soon

Can confirm that, as of earlier in the year when we bought ours, Jack Roe still distribute FilmGuard and stock other film (mostly 35mm) consumables. They also told us that they had plenty of adhesive and tape base and no plans to discontinue manufacturing their splicing tapes which was a big relief as we get through plenty!

Their website does its best to bury the fact but if you contact them they can confirm what they still carry.

Yes its a sign of the times we live in,what i term as cinema supplies is buried deep in Jackroes site,they used to do a neat little catalogue of their goods not sure if they still do.
Now its all about digital and computer driven cinema and business must go where the money is.

Gentlemen, thank you for pointing this out. We will resolve this error with a new page on our website listing the many film supplies (mostly 35mm, but some 8mm, 16mm and 70mm also) and parts that we continue to manufacture, stock and distribute. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We can't do it overnight but will take care of it as soon as we reasonably can.
