Watching on ebay last night, The great escape 16 mm feature, scope , mylar, looked like a nice print too, nearly £1,800 ..... i wonder who got that beauty .........

Was you one of 51 people watching Tom ?, i nearly bid on it, but i'm watching another title at the moment, it did look stunning to be fare, someone bagged a superb print of that classic for sure ........

I thought it was going to be far more Greg, considering some of the films recently going for high sums, mad prices now, however it did look superb, and in scope and on mylar, an all time classic ............

I know I've paid well over what I normally would for a film or two in the last year, for me this was only possible thanks to the sale of other titles but as much as I would really like a copy like this one I just simply would never pay it, bot even half of it but do agree, it looked an immaculate print, someone going to enjoy it.

To be fair, what they did to get out was pretty amazing to say the least, and over 70 did get out.
