The more i see stupid pricing like this the more i think about selling up, it really is ridiculous.
I've no problem bidding upward to these prices, its worth what they wish to pay, but sellers starting at some of the prices are either idiots, clueless or just plain greed had set in. It does nothing for the hobby.
Give you an example, a few weeks ago a collector sent me a happy new year, added to it was a four minute video of his 4K screening of this very title on a 10ft screen. Absolutely pin sharp and beautiful looking image and i could hear how good the sound would be, and added to the text, only a tenner!!
Any youngsters looking on ebay to get into the hobby, (even though we still have a few dealers) looking at this listing will be laughing and almost certainly be put off. It also puts people off looking on fleabay which is a shame as normal sellers do list at the appropriate price, here is just a few more examples, i know this probably bores some people but you cant help wonder who these deluded clowns are.
This first one never gives up

On the plus side by making the price so ridiculous I can happily ignore it whereas if it was an auction I might start bidding a few hundred and run the risk of spending more than I really should - even if it would still be a fraction of the buy it now listing here!

Thats one way of looking at it Rik,
I just think these sellers, (many of whom are collectors and should know better), would have the common sense to start sensibly. There may be a good chance of a title like this fetching this kind of money, but it baggers the question, if thats how much you want for it why not put it up on the forums at that price? Perhaps they think they may get a few as a reply.
