Another great actor died today,best known for his tv series “Cracker” plus numerous film credits including Harry Potter franchise,GoldenEye,
And The World is Not Enough to name but a few.
A great loss to his family and will be sorely missed by all his fans.RIP.

Yes Gwyn, I too was shocked to hear of his passing. He was what I would consider a great character actor...not leading man material, but truly enjoyable to watch nonetheless.
Sad to hear, may he rest in peace...

Sad news indeed, it's been a bad week for British stars with Angela Lansbury dying as well, Robbie was born to play "Hagrid" in the Harry Potter films, he was absolutley brilliant in the role, and he had 2 Bond films under his belt as well, I know in recent years he hasn't been very well, but still a shock that this affable actor has left the sound stage for the last time.

Very sad news again. What a character he was. Cracker from the 90s never seems to be shown anywhere these days but that series was excleent and Robbie Coltrane was brilliant.

I have vague memories of Cracker, but I love his work as Hagrid. I can now hardly imagine anyone else in that role. Sad news.
