The great Angela Lansbury has died at the ripe old age of 96, perhaps best known for her iconic TV role of "Jessica Fletcher" in "Murder She Wrote" she did much more in her long career, she even played Elvis Presley's mother in "Blue Hawaii", and of course her great voice acting playing "Mrs. Pott" in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast". Another survivor of Hollywood's golden era has sadly gone!

very sad news, the amount of characters she could play were miles apart, from Bedknobs and broomsticks to The Manchurian Candidate and everything between.

Very sad news.
What I found amazing is the number of episodes they made of 'Murder She Wrote' every year. It must have seemed like non-stop filming at times given the number of scenes and locations for every episode.
