Zeppelin, 1971 with Michael York and Elke Sommer

Here is a recent addition. It is a very nice 16mm LPP TV print (Flat). This is noticeable in a few scenes, but not bothersome to me. This is a film that was a favorite of my late father. Roy Budd, who composed music for the film Soldier Blue, was heavily involved in this one as well. Print is really sharp, despite how these photos look....sigh

You kept that a secret about your Dad,when I saw Soldier Blue in the cinema first time around l knew I had to get the soundtrack album soonest, from then on I was hooked .Get Carter,The Stone Killer,Carlow ,Flight of the Doves to name a few, your father’s music has bought me and I am sure millions of other film score lovers a great deal of pleasure and enjoyment playing his music.
Please see my review of Soldier Blue some while back reference your Dad.A great composer.

Errr. Secret?

Roy Budd also wrote the music for Kidnapped with Michael Caine, the opening theme is very good and matches perfectly as the main title goes up on the aftermath of the battle.

Greg, very nice print. I have to confess that it is not a film i know but i will find it on the shinny disc and take a look.

Sorry for any confusion…Roy Budd was not my father. Hopefully, there was a period there and not a comma between the late father part and switching to mention Roy Budd. The soundtrack was a really enjoyable part of the film. Sadly, Roy Budd passed away far too early at age 46.

Not seen Zeppelin for years, I do remember enjoying it. Have the theme to play in car. Roy Budd composed some great music.

I still love the smell of film in the morning
