At Last , GOOD NEWS !!
Film striping has begun in Germany for Andec customers .
Now , film print production and print striping will be performed in the same country .
Those of you that did not have your prints striped will now get them done .
Be aware it is a single stripe and not a double for stereo .

Well that is good news, it makes sense to do all these process's under one roof, that way you can control quality better, its how most manufactured product across the globe gets done, i don't think anyone doubted your ability and determination to get this across the line David, good to hear.

Superb progress - bravo!

I did receive a print - 200' from Steve O that I believe was part of the newest batch being striped in Germany. Single track 1 only MONO but it is being done with mylar film NOT paste.

Sound was really good and the stripe seems attached perfectly. Waiting on seeing how well this works out when I see the next batch of 600' reels striped. Hoping all looks good and as with anything the more competition then the better it is for us consumers.

Interesting that it is not Paste because I expected it would be on polyester. I too am awaiting some 600ft reels hoping they will arrive before christmas. If the stripe stays on it will be good as I remember all too well the 'peeling' stripe on some of the Acetate prints from CHC.

Was there any focus problems with just the one mono stripe?

I did not experience any focus issues on my Elmo ST-180-E projector.

I have both paste and mylar stripes and have not had any issues with either.
