Back on the hunt for a lens for my Bauer T610, although i managed to fix the one i have as a temporary job.

Back some months ago it suffered the common fate of these otherwise excellent Len's. the plastic lugs which run in the slider inside when you zoom, broke off. I managed to carefully glue them back in place but when focusing a film the far right is slightly out of focus. It isn't much but its enough for me to want to replace, it does the job for now. Obviously one of the lugs isnt sat quite true and its too fiddley to keep on trying without making the lens totally unusable.

The f1.2 lens will be slightly more easy to focus than the f1.1.

Funnily enough, i recall a review on the Elmo Len's with the 1:1 and the 1:0, the F1:0 definatly gives a brighter image but the 1:1 was easier to focus.

Hopefully, a lens had been found and will be on the way soon.

Good to hear Tom, I've a lens that has suffered the same fate. I've been looking into somehow 3D printing a sleeve or similar but so far I have had no success. I hope the Bauer is still behaving!

It would be great to be able to get those sleeves as thats pretty much the only thing they seem to suffer with.
