Well, Eivind has been hard at work once again and has made two very useful enhancements to Super8database.com which were just placed into service this past weekend!

First, we have the addition of movie posters to many of the features. Some of the artwork is really stylistic for the time the film was released and is interesting to see. In addition, for those features that lack a current box cover image, these are handy to resize, print and use for box covers. Note, these movie posters are not high-resolution and the reason for that is to insure the policy of 'fair use' is maintained.

Second, movie trailers have been added for features. This feature is very helpful when you come across a title you may not be certain about, and by watching the embedded video on the Super8database film record page, you can confirm what it is all about.

We are continuing to add posters and trailers, and at the moment we have over 1,600 records updated with more to come!
In addition we have recently added numerous German film releases. For those collectors who can re-record to English (or other language preference) this opens many more potential titles for collecting that did not have an English release.

The database is one of the best ive seen for any film collector. Thank you to both of you for all the hard work you do.

I do think that in some cases, the movie poster art is actually preferable compared to the original box cover art for sure.

I will just add that Greg has been hard at work too, not just me :-) He has put in a lot of hours too.
