Cinema Lamp

I found a gutted hand crank projector and felt inspired to build a "cinema lamp." The first one I made was purchased by a local theater owner and he has it displayed in his lobby. I found another non-working projector and decided to give it another go. I Here is the piece:

Hi Don,

That’s a really old one. Is it an 8 or 16mm machine? And the chimney on top, it that original? It looks like it is perhaps from the 1930s. I would much rather see a machine repurposed than for it to end up in a trash heap!

It's a 16mm. It had no guts at all when I found it other than what is shown. The chimney is not original, but I thought it added to the look and what I envisioned the "repurpose" to look like. I thought it came together in the end. A shame to find some of these in poor condition.
