The 9.5mm user has always had access to many cartoons, both silent and sound from Pathescope, either to hire or buy outright.
In the silent category there are films from Walt Disney with Mickey Mouse and Silly Symphony, Felix the Cat, Bonzo, Popeye, Betty Boop. Most were original length but some were also available in 30ft and 60ft abridged versions.
Disney did not allow the issue of sound versions of his cartoons, however, sound cartoons were available with Steve the Horse, Betty Boop, Popeye.
Many cartoons are currently available on 9.5mm from Grahame Newnham.
