For the last week I have been showing "FILM STARS DONT DIE IN LIVERPOOL" which is the story of the later years of the Hollywood film star Gloria Graham.
To compliment the second week run of this film,I have today madeup and checked a 35mm print in pristine condition of the film "IN A LONELY PLACE" issued
by Park Circus. This is the 1950 film starring Humphrey Bogart and Gloria Graham, running 93 mins in black and white, mono sound on five reels.
This is the story of a gifted but washed up screenwriter with a hair trigger temper(H>B),who becomes a prime suspect in a brutal Tinsletown murder. The only person who can supply an alibi for him is a seductive neighbour with her own troubled past.(GG).
