A Jim Reeves Memorial 200ft Colur Sound

Not really a film for a full review but this singer has a voice like no other.
I was bought up on this as my Mum and Dad both liked his music. I listen to his Cd's today in my car for easy listening from time to time.
The velvet voice of Jim reeves.
What stands out on this, (and a few other old country and western 400 footers we have) is the fact that there is no colour fade at all and considering how rare any colour sound footage of Jim Reeves actually is columbia home movies have done an excellent job here with the sound, the pin sharp image and the overall quality.
This is simply a selection of four songs,
I've lived at lot in my time,
Mexican Joe,
Then i'll stop loving you,
Yonder comes a sucker.

I too loved listening to Gentleman Jim in my informative years Tom. My Dad was a big fan of his music and so it became that I held a similar admiration also.
"When Two Worlds Collide" was always one of my favourites.

Just listened to it again Tom, probably for the first time in about 25 years, what a tune!
Some things are simply timeless by their very quality!

"Amazing song..amazing singer."
"Music and singers like Jim Reeves never gets old or out of style. They are always new and always sound great. Jim is a fantastic singer and only few are in his class. I am sure I am not the only one who feel like this I wish I was born twenty years earlier so I could have met him in person."
