Dave can you at least give a reel count---specifically those with film, and maybe how many silent and how many sound titles? It is hard to offer an amount for a collection when you don't know.....

1 - how many titles ?
2 - what are the titles ?
3 - what is the condition?
or anything else......

From the pictures and your descriptions I only know about Pathe Gazettes, North of Zanzibar (travelogue), This is Ontario (travelogue), Red box 100ft (often mute Disney's and mute Popeyes/betty boops) and White box 300ft (which can often be mute sound films)....A lot of empty reels, Irma La Douce (which is not 9.5), George Formby (which could be a mute sound film or a sound film)....

I just don't see how anyone can make an offer when you don't have any real indication as to what you are making the offer on? If there were a couple of choice titles I would make an offer for the lot just to get those titles

re 9.5 films I have today gave 17 boxes of 9.5 films to a friend of mine and over the month he is going to give me a detailed description sound or silent titles condition etc I have told him to put some on ebay to see how they go when he has watched some . he has told me on pick up that their are some features and good shorts amongst them will let you know later

I will be offering forum members first chance of the 9.5 films stating titles and cond if no interest I will put them on ebay I am hoping to get some titles of the films in the next 7 days or so

Hugh, sorry, didnt mean to bugger off, but these days dealing with film forums is sort of like playing a game of "Whack A Mole" there are so many it is hard to remember, who posted what where..... Let alone check each and every one all the time...

also the easiest for picture downloading, I notice the layout on 8mm forum where one has to be a Particle Physicist to put a few snapshots up, on here its a doddle. Anyway, we look forward to your participation and pictures.

just had an update tonight re the 9.5 collection all features have now been sorted out and lots of shorts hoping to start listing titles at the weekend with prices

re 9.5mm films I have now let a friend of mine take the lot for inspection and he has put one on ebay called secret hiding places
