The Blitz on Britain.

We put on this excellent Walton 4x400 foot feature documentary tonight.
This is a great documentary using footage as always from both the British side and the German archives.
What sets this one aside from the World in Flames is the superior quality which is the same excellent picture and sound throughout. The film was sold as a 4 x 400 feature but each part had its own title on the box, (not in the film). We also like the End of part 1,etc at the end of the first three parts which i think makes things less abrupt. Our copy does have light black lines on parts 1 & 2 but 3 & 4 are excellent, as the price was only £35 we had no problems with this as the content is so captivating. Of course as the title suggests this one is all about the blitz on Britain as opposed to a second WW history. If you enjoy these movies as we do i can recommend this one above most others if anything for the first class image and sound throughout. Another great Walton film.

I agree ... I saw one of the 400's when I was 12 or so. Rented it I think. Bought this a couple of years ago now and have enjoyed it 3 times already.

I've had a couple of copies of this over the years Tom, absolutely battered though both copies. Great film and still on the lookout for a minter, I know they are out there I have tons of second world war stuff now thanks especially to a certain gentleman who is no longer with us, I think I have around 30 news reels from the 30's upwards.

Bought the first 3 reels from Vidar. I absolutely loved it. I looked around for the 4th reel, and finally found it on ebay from France. Bought it brand new with the shrink wrap still on. I absolutely love it! Thanks again to Vidar that sold me this!
