Finally got to test them, both for 16mm (did some splicing on some old TV commercials) and on Super 8 with adapters. Cut three Disney films on a 600' to three 200' with new leaders. A small step for mankind, but a giant leap for me!
Absolutely love the new tool! But it makes too much noise I guess to rewind while watching. This will be for repair work etc.
But now I will look for a light screen or whatever it is called, do it will be easier to see where I am on the film :-)

"Editor" Eivand.
Nice reminders there though. A very useful and necessary tool for close inspection, cleaning and splicing of film in the meantime, before you source a suitable "Editor" for your collection.

Very nice Elvind, an important tool in film. As Andrew rightly says, an editor is invaluable and can be picked up relatively
cheaply.
