Hijack!

Film for children (probably same as The Battle of Billy's Pond). Almost an hour running time and fitted on a 2000' reel (2300' capacity). From 1975 about three children being hijacked and forced to take a criminal away from England on a boat. Colours quite good on this too, looks like they chose a good stock :-)

I quite like these kids adventures, I tend to try and spot any aspiring actors, which is difficult when they put up credits in white
on a pale background, who thinks them up? Well apart from that, it appears to be a lovely little film with nice colour.

Easier to read here : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0301403/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2

I too think that is quite stupid. My TV tuner has a stripe telling how far into a program it is. Light gray background and almost the same tone in yellow. Why not blue or something really contrasting the other colour?

Also hate the way they put credits these days. Left of the screen, top of the screen, bottom right ... Why no consistency? And it's there for a second. I can't read it anymore (I used to be able to before my stroke) ... I can't focus quick enough. If they were in the same place, it would be easier.

Getting OOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLD

LOL

You are not alone Vidar, we all hate the way at the end of a film or play, the credits that have the cast listed, flies off into
a corner and is squashed out of all recognition, the usually beautiful end theme is talked all the way through, then when the
cast list of actors has passed and the hairdresser, cleaner and the guy who brought the pies, hit the screen, suddenly its there for us all to see. An idea imported from the US, which I hope they give back, soon.
