Another top model resurfaces!

Very hard to come by now and a TOP model when all is A1!
Hopefully this is, and someone with the necessary takes full advantage of this very very rare opportunity.

A little cosmetic damage I notice to the "hammered" paint surface down below, but nothing that a professional paint sprayer couldn't rectify quickly and easily.

The extra recording controls basically bring about the same recording features you have with a Bauer T610 with digital start / stop recording facility to a single frame accuracy from what I gather.

It isn't originally a tele-cine machine Paul. It is meant to have the same halogen as the others but with added recorded facilities.

One of our members here has one. Hopefully he will elaborate more for us all Paul on it's recording facilities.

Maybe this has been modified for such use but no doubt the original transformer and all of it's tappings are still present so should be an easy job to convert back to original design if it has been converted to a low light lamp.

It's difficult to tell without seeing inside the lamphouse cover. No photographs here show inside sadly.

A friend of mine in Italy has one Beaulieu 708 EL Stereo fadecomputer, but doesn't work the computer, he needs a schematic for this fadecomputer.
I hope we can find this schematic.

It will be hard to find now I believe, as I heard the instructions for just the fadecomputer aspect of this machine were added as an extra pamphlet alongside the Stereo standard operating instruction manual.

I have not seen any mention of the fadecomputer in the service manual for these, let alone a schematic.

Let us know if he happens to discover such a thing exists, it would be most interesting to add to the other schematics from the service manual Alessandro.

I have just uploaded a pdf of the users manual for the 708 EL Stereo, unfortunately it does not mention the Fadecomputer, also the manual is French.

John

No, no mention in my English version either John, nor the service manual. This was very much a later mod done by Beaulieu on what seemingly, was only a very few limited machines, similar to a P-Com on a GS 1200. Information is hard to come by now unless a machine had a very meticulous first owner!

Hi Andrew, nice that you speak of the Elmo GS 1200 P Com, I have one but the device with the computer doesn't work. Yes the service manual it would be a miracle.
