Gentlemen! Can anyone tell me the story of these "Imports". I bought them on Ebay.co.uk some years ago. Was Moviola a company? Are all imports bootlegs etc. Who sold them in U.K?

The movieola series were imported by Derann Matt's. I have many myself like The Soup Song etc etc.
Andrew! Do you know where the prints were made? Is the second pic also a Moviola print?

I don't know who Derann imported these titles from sorry Matt's. I also don't know anything about the origins of your other print there unfortunately Matt's. Hopefully someone will come to our aid with the knowledge.
Timothy! I must admit that I don´t know about the quality. I have several hundred film that I havn´t screened yet. I work in Norway, appx 430 miles from my home in Sweden, where I have my collection. When I´m home and have some sparetime, I have started to register my film in a Collectorz database. Hopefully there will also be some time for watching films in the near future.

WOW Mats! That's a long way from your home to work! I know what you mean about having films that you haven't seen yet. I have a few reels that I still haven't seen!
I do hope that you will have the opportunity to enjoy some film very soon!
I am the same, I even have one or two features I've never got around to watching yet. Criminal really, but that is why I am looking now to off load some prints whenever any new are on the horizon.
There is after all only so much time and indeed so much room we find ourselves having for these things before we run out of both!
I recently found this page from Deranns Moviola Catalogue. I have some of these in my Collection. Where there more titles available? I´m also curious about the origin of these titles.

"Import","Moviola" and "White Box" generally fall into the "believe and don't ask" category! A few imports,a few printed without permission! How do you think we have the complete FANTASIA today,or SHANE ? etc etc Shhhhh!!!!

The Derann Movieola series were "imported" from Denham in Buckinghamshire, the company had a funny name like Ready And Never Kinked
The Movieola catalogue is on the pdf disc of the Derann At Pinewood DVD
