Vidar Any idea who released this one? I remember seeing it on a flyer from Regent Films along time ago in a dealers shop not too far away.
Very good colours too.
Take care.
Best wishes.

Sorry, but have no idea. I do not think there was a original leader, but will try to check, if I get some more focus on my eyesight. Colours were good and it was a decent film too. Cost me a 16mm feature to get it, but as it was a flat version of a film I also have in scope, I thought it was worth it.
Does it say on the film who released/printed it? Like along the perforations where film stock is printed?

Think it would only say on the header or tails. Would imagine the print dates from the 70's though.

I think it was actually a Viacom release, it was touted in the 'day' as one of the best 1970's prints, and it sure has held up well in nigh on 40 years!
Barry yes that's the one. Viacom. It did cross my mind but somehow ABC films came out. I think I saw them all in the same advert
in a magazine away back when first released.
I shall be able to sleep tonight. hahaha !
I don't know of this print Barry apart from seeing it for the first time here.
What I will say is, it looks remarkably similar to many of my own Viacom prints of the Elvis movies in both sharpness and the way they've aged regarding colour fade.
As you say Barry, it would be difficult to find better outside of the Fuji prints from this same era!
Quite possibly over 40 years now, remarkable all things considered!!
Yes Andrew, and after 40 years I doubt it will fade much more, so could last another 20-30 years, that would be brilliant, wouldn't it!
I've certainly seen no change in my Elvis ones since I've owned them I'm pleased to say.
