Nice screenshots Steve and I was wondering what the editing is like on this digest.
It's not too bad Douglas, mainly the car chase, shoot out at the end, some other scenes in between to tie it together, as with all digests some peoples likes are others dislikes, at least it hasn't got the Columbia Narrator.
I had this film new back in the day and the colour is as it was then, I showed it to my mate and his brother in law on an 8' screen
in a 13x12 room, it blew them away, it is sharp and has a great car chase much like "French Connection", in my mind it is a very
underrated thriller and those pics certainly do it justice.
So Hugh, you would say this one has held it's colour well. Wish I could say the same for Marathon Man first 2 reels are on the turn, the third reel is perfect.
The colour looks unchanged from my new print then Steve, it had the "realistic" look to it and very clear, it certainly impressed
the lads watching it, I had the projector in the dining room and onto the screen in the living room ( many years ago in a different
locale ) they were both impressed.
Its a good film, rented from FDA on super 8mm back in the late 70's fantastic print. I'll keep a lookout for a copy of the digest.
I still love the smell of film in the morning

Those are really nice shots that Steve took, they certainly retain the original print quality of this actioner, no fade at all on his copy.
