Just a few pics from the Italian company' Fotocinedizioni's 6 reel version of the film, now extremely rare.

Interesting thing is that it was the copy of the proprietor of Miko Studio's that I bought, as the shipment he was waiting for had been stolen, which was good for me, but shortly after, all the copies were shortened to 6 minutes per reel, making it 36 minutes instead of the original 50mins running time. The final reel was/is on ebay It. at a cool 250 Euros! When I bought this it was £36.00 in 1975.

Hugh, how was this film originally supplied? I read somewhere that it was releases on 6 x 200ft spools, is that correct?

Tom, the film was supplied on 6x200's but the reels were eventually reduced in running time to 6 mins per reel, the colour suffered too.
Del, yes I have an ib tech 16mm, bought a lot of years back Debonair Films, it came from a seller in Jersey, but that 8mm version was
shown to loads of people, IN ITALIAN, I redone the dialogue, but there are scenes in it that weren't in the BBC version where I obtained
the soundtrack by leads onto the speaker in TV, being cut,due to censors, I had to redo again into Italian, I was pissed off.
