just off your photos Vidar, I can't tell how many parts are broken or missing. I'd have to see a perfect one to compare. It shouldn' t be a difficult fix though I wouldn't have thought if you can get say John White or someone to send you the parts.

Get a close up Vidar, looks like the whole drive has snapped off, ouch. You will need the back off to get a better look, get some picture's Vidar.

From inside? Or just closer than the one I posted?
Will open it up and see what's there. I do think it goes round, just nothing for the reel to hang onto, but will test it more now.
Inside (disregard the hair, please :-) ) Not mine
Close up of front
It spins all the way through, but most likely somethings broken off

Hi Vidar, is it one of those models that had co axial reels, they were side by side, the feed and take up spools.
Not side by side, if you mean like on the daylight screen model (R-2000?) ... Has the film loading in front on it's own arm, which is running fine

YES your right Hugh, no swing out arm on the front, so the something has broken off for sure. This is the same as the tv style projectors, where space is limited.

THE guy who does the 3D parts maybe able to help you here Vidar, he does those drive spindles for all kinds of projectors, would then have to work out how
you could successfully attach it to the metal spindle, from where its broken off. You could drill and tap the end and bolt it to that with a washer to hold it in place.

I am a mess at doing modifications. So if the part won't fit, I probably can't fix it.
