Can anyone with a TQ1,2,or 3, confirm that the large barrel lens has a diameter of 52.5mm.

A one inch lens, I have a narrow barrell lens in a sleeve, but this is f.19, whereas a wide barrell lens would be f.14

i have a bell and howell f15 that will fit your project, giving a slightly larger pic and much better focus, no fuzzing at the edges, ithink its called vignetting

Only about 12 feet, I have seen a lens for sale with a 52.5mm thread. As far as I know there were only two types of 16mm lens, narrow barrell and large barrell.

You are correct Robert, I've just bought another stepping ring for my B&H, it is 52mm thread to fit the std prime lens for a Kowa 'scope
lens. I have the 1'' lens that is Taylor Hobson f1.9, small barrel, but sleeved for B&H, I have a spare 2'' f1.4 if you need it gratis.
The shorter focal length are harder to come by, I paid about £100.00 for mine years ago, they sometimes have them on ebay USA.

Thanks for the info Hugh, that was all I need to know. I have two of the 2" lenses, but thanks for the very kind offer anyway. TOP MAN.

I have just secured a 1" wide barrel lens, so will be nice to view all my films again with more light. I haven't been that impressed with the Taylor Hobson lenses; I thought the standard 2 inch lens gave a sharper image, just needed something to give a larger picture.

Well done on that Robert, those lenses are getting rare now, you'll enjoy the results, 16mm wasn't meant for the home, but
with this little lens you get a nice BIG picture and won't strain your eyes because its 16mm.
