Suppliers of Super 8mm Feature Film boxes.

#1 by Andrew Woodcock ( deleted ) , Wed Sep 02, 2015 9:42 am

Anyone know of anybody who has any Super 8mm 600ft card feature boxes?
Just like the ones Derann used to pack their full length films in.
I am avidly looking for both these and plain white card boxes in the 600ft and 200ft sizes.

I have 1200ft card boxes should anyone ever require any BTW.

Yes thanks Vidar, I know Phil is an outlet for coloured Classic logo boxes, but preferably, I just want plain white card if possible.

Also, it is the feature boxes I am most anxious to locate if at all possible.

I don't mean to state the obvious or sound clever, but if we can get some white card we can use a 600' or any other size
to make our own by using it as a template Remember Pat D'Alessio from 8mm forum, he was a dab hand at making quality boxes, and like Andrew made his own labels to suit, result beautiful bespoke containers.

Quite correct Hugh but for me personally, I'd want around 50 x 600ft feature boxes and around 150x 600ft single card boxes.

I am down to my last Derann feature box and also my last two single 600ft box.

While I don't mind hours and hours doing the art for these, with my recording ventures taking up much of my spare time plus actually watching and enjoying them all, plus maintaining all 5 of my most used projectors...I feel, for me personally, making boxes would be one pursuit too many, for me at least.

I look for boxes, but not in the thousands. 1200', 800' are of more interest, as CHC has the others, sadly not white though

How many do you need to sell if you make an order? I could do some 30 to 50 each, depending on price

Thanks for joining. Sent you a PM regarding name

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, FEATURE BOXES, 1200FT BOXES 800FT BOXES, BUT WE WOULD HAVE TO HAVE 2000 OF EACH ONE MADE, ANYTHING LESS WOULD MAKE THEM TOO EXPENSIVE, I AM JUST FEELING MY WAY TO SEE IF THERE IS A DEMAND AND IT IS WORTH MAKING A GO OF HAVING SOME MADE, IT MAY BE TOO LATE IN THE HISTORY OF 8MM BUT THESRE MUST BE OTHER COLLECTORS THAT NEED THEM, THANKS FOR YOUR MESSAGE

PRICES FOR THE 200FT,400FT AND 600FT WERE ON THE FIRST MESSAGE

Hello Richard, nice to speak with you for the first time.

I would want 600ft and 600ft feature Boxes. Not hundreds but may well take up to 100 if you had either of these made.

I use Bonum boxes for 800ft films and have still about 20 spare reels and cans so I'm ok on that front for the foreseeable and I myself purchased all of a sellers 1200ft boxes so I have a lifetimes amount of those.

But certainly the 600 ft ones mentioned above as well as few 200ft boxes would be extremely handy for me if you were to supply them.

The feature ones in particular would be superb as I don't know of any supplier of these now.

Best regards Richard,
Andrew.
