2519 MY SON IS A CRIMINAL : Former police chief Tim Halloran Sr. (Willard Robertson) fully expects his son Tim Jr. (Alan Baxter) to follow in his footsteps, instead, the younger Halloran opts for the easy road of crime. 2520 THE REBEL : Tony Hancock gives up his office job to become an abstract artist. He has a lot of enthusiasm, but little talent, and critics scorn his work. Nevertheless, he impresses an emerging very talented artist (Paul Massie). The sideline characters are all magnificent from John Le Mesurier as Hancock's completely unimaginative boss, George Sanders as the art dealer, Irene Handl is on top form as Mrs Cravat who regards all Hancock's efforts as a load of miscellaneous rubbish and Dennis Price's Jim Smith, an eccentric French millionaire.
