It would only have been released as a Film Library print Douglas.
Hi Doug, yes it was, I have a print, great soundtrack from The Bee Gees & Crosby, Stills & Nash.
Forgot Neil Young, so, Crosby. Stills, Nash & Young, may God forgive me.
David and Hugh,
Thank you for the response. I imagine that print would be tough to find but I'll keep a lookout for it.I saw a copy of "Oliver!" for sale recently but it was incomplete and in (what appeared to be) poor condition.
According to one of my 16mm Rank Film Library Catalogues it was in Eastman Colour. So I think it may have been printed on Eastman Film Stock.
I think prints may have faded by now. Its hire fee for one show was £ 12.00 per day.
Thank you David for the information about this film. Here in the States few people seem aware of this wonderful film, which is a shame.
Doug, my print is faded, but with gels is nice, the high point to me is Roy Kinnears role as Melody's Dad, a part he played well, as did
the Grandma, lovely character parts played to the full, excluding the silly comedy stuff, a nice film, with a superb soundtrack. As a
rider, it was imported from the US at about $30.00, many years ago.
