That is very sad news indeed Clyde, yes I agree, "The Haunting" was one of the best ghost stories put on film. I also thoroughly
enjoyed his "Bulldog Drummond" films, a fine actor who has left a legacy of top performances both on stage, cinema and TV, a tragic loss.
R.I.P. Richard.

I haven't seen a lot of him, I remember him in 'Operation Crossbow', a very fine British film about the V1 and V2 rockets; also that he once dated a French actress younger than himself; I think she was in a TV comedy 'Mind your Language', with Barry Evans. Last year the wife brought back some movies from Russia; one was a 1968 film titled 'Columna', in which he had a starring role, it was filmed in Bucharest; I think he's the only Western actor in it.
Didn't know he had died. Good in Deadlier Than the Male Watched a few others over the last 6 months too. Was a good artical in Cinema Retro a few years ago.

I could be wrong Robert, but was it Francoise Pascal, she was the lovely French student in "Mind Your Language" that Richard Johnson dated.
I'll look it up, but he was a good looking chap never-the-less, and a beautiful speaker, not like the mumbling buggers of today.
