A very great find! Would have loved finding those two Flintstones titles sometime! :-) And you got them as we enter the long dark evenings that are great for watching film too :-)

Will thin out collection a bit, will have them on Reel Market Place on Facebook as auctions, hopefully with what people consider a fair starting price

I don't think I have seen Cincinatti Kid, but always enjoyed Karl Malden, and Edward G. Robinson. The TV gets worse; I don't remember Xmas last year had anything worth watching. Happy viewing Paul.

I am waiting for a 16mm copy of 'Fighting Man of the Plains' (1949) from the U.S.; this is probably my favourite Randolph Scott film. I've owned a copy on DVD for years, but still watch it every time it comes up on TV. When a film print came up I wanted it. I had to break my promise to the wife of not buying another film. Some of you know the feeling .

Hello Paul; yes, that's where I have seen them. He did the original sound version of 'She', and he was in a Fred Astaire/ Ginger Rodgers film, also played with Charles Laughton in 'Captain Kidd. Better in westerns.

In my ongoing quest to find a number of cinema-related, Derann-released 200ft shorts, this past month I've managed to find Psycho Promo extended trailer, Mobile Phone Spoof, Lawrence scope trailer and the piece de resistance, Cinema of Our Time.

Very thrilled - it's been an unexpectedly good few weeks despite a rampant virus!

A bit of a weird one for me here but i recently bought a Eumig 820 sonomatic to play with. It was very cheap and comes with the eumig leather type case.
I only bought this one to use for running new short reels for testing the film and our old home movies. I will pop up some images later but as i'm not a huge Eumig fan myself but my Brother will add it to his film collection to go with the others he has. I do really like how compact and quite there are, and they are very good to film and the sound quality is also pretty good.
It seems to be very clean inside and out but the bulb doesn't work (as the seller pointed out) so thats what i need to look at.
I didn't realise this was a super 8 only model, (and single 8) but as i dont have any STD 8s im not bothered. What has surprised me is that this model does have a twin claw as opposed to Eumigs normal one.

That's a lovely projector, Tom. They're built like small tanks, bright and have great audio. I have never been aware of my 820 ever leaving a scratch or wear mark on any of my films. The 822 and 824 are dual-gauge, but the 820 is Super/Single only.

Thanks Martin, i wonder why they made the 820 as a super 8 only, as you say though they are good quality machines, i like the fact that is has a twin claw such a shame they stuck so much to that slipling clutch.
Brother has the 807,810HQS and the 822. I would like a decent 824 but as always with me im looking for a low price. I missed one backalong for 70 and it seemed in mint condition so they are there to be had.
