No photo to show, but I picked up a 200í sound reel of the Beatles. Havenít viewed it yet, but from what I understand itís made up of song promos and a short interview. Released by Niles Films supposedly, so Iím not expecting the quality to be that great.

Sounds like a very rare item, be great if you could share some screenshots later.

My latest additions landed a few days ago, Shout at the Devil, 16mm agfa scope print, Prizzi's Honour and Winnie the Pooh & Tigger too, all 16mm with the later having the advantage of being the full length version.

Just received a new road runner. Not sure what the original title is as this is a German release. But with no spoken language, the only issue will be if I already have the title and don't recognize it. My son love Road Runner, so I look forward to watch this one. The cover is a 400' sized one, but it is just a 200' inside.

Tom you lucky man Shout at the Devil, 16mm agfa scope print. I have this but not watched for ages, so might be red now. Plus its a hybrid print part of one reel is flat. I did know when I bought it so OK Western Cinema was the company.

I still love the smell of film in the morning

Thanks Daivid, to be fair, i know it will have some lines but at the end of the day the colour will be fine and the price is more than generous so i am super happy to have this in my collection. Hopefully i will be able to do a review soon in the coming two weeks.

I picked up a few from Classic the other week - The Abbott and Costello cutdown of Mexican Hayride, the marketing 3 x400ft of Saturday Night Fever - id forgotten how gritty it was and on 16mm - kris kristofferson and Ali Magraw and Ernest Borgnine in Sam Peckinpah's - Convoy.

The Saturday night fever is a good cutdown if the colours are good. I sold mine on due to fade, a fairly good edit with one or two marketing abrupt cuts.
I did buy the feature from a dealer back along but it went back as the condition was almost a complete opposite of what i was i was told.

From Steve Osborne this past week, I received the Universal 8 400í edit of Psycho. In addition, was a 800í reel that has both 400í editions of the original Star Wars with scenes from the 200í edited in as well.

A couple of weeks ago I got the Speed trailer and a nice replacement for my scratched Derann Ad Reel #12 (Dambusters, Pearl & Dean Heineken etc.), both from Classic.

Douglas, the 400ft Psycho cut is a really good edit and a pin sharp image. Such a shame they didnt do a 2 x 400 version.

The Psycho 400' is nice to go along with the 200' promo, quite a rare one but they are out there, it's a great watch.

Thats what mine is, the original release promo spliced to the beginning of the 400 version.it works very well. When i bought it many years ago i thought i was only getting the 400 version. It was a very full reel and when i checked it the promo was already on it. A lucky purchase.

I have never been a Super 8 collector, mostly 16mm. However, I may have to change that after my latest acquisition. After a month in transit from Spain (mostly taking a vacation upon entry into the US) the Spanish language Paul Naschy feature is in my hands. Very excited. And I received another purchase this past weekend, a standard 8mm feature of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. Can't wait to get these projected.

Bought a Super 8 400 in an original box today: Flintstones Ė Little Bamm-Bamm. A very nice addition when the dark evenings of fall are coming.
