Paul, this is one of marketing best cut downs. It's one of my favourites in our collection and fits nicely on 1 x 800ft spool.

Not sure whether to leave them as they are or put together on one spool! The colour is great on all three with no splices at all!!

I fully understand that Paul.The boxes are really nice too. If your planning to keep it long term then viewing this or any film with no interuptions just makes it so much better. Keep the leaders and tails on the 400 spools so you can put it back to originals if you decide to sell it later. Unless of course you can use two or three projectors to do the reel changes. I never fancied that though. Too much messing about for me.

Your getting some great titles Paul, although i love my 16mm's these days, i still have a soft spot for the 400ft super 8 editions. Dont always have time to watch a full movie but many of those 400 footers make a great varied evenings entertainment.

Today I attended the Nordic film collectors convention. Every third year it is in Oslo (as it alternates between Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo).

These are the films I bought:
* The longest day - 16mm
* The Pride And The Passion, with Cary Grant And Frank Sinatra. I like Grant's movies, and listen to Sinatra a lot, so I had to get this. - 16mm
* A documentary about the Ekofisk oil field in the North Sea - 16mm
* Several Tom & Jerry on Super 8
* Some Walt Disney's on Super 8

Pretty happy with this day!
