Vidar,
You are going to be a busy guy watching all of these! Some nice titles there--especially the Scooby Doo's.
Pictures would be great, as you have the time....

After a long lull of not purchasing anything, one of the films my wife has wanted for a while popped up on Ebay, Hammer's THE MUMMY. Despite the color turning (which isn't bothersome to me), I put down a bid and won. I think the color turning helped this one stay rather low (for a Hammer). Now the search for CHARRO!

Disagree. Enjoyment of a movie is deeper than that. I could put in the blu ray for the best presentation with sharp image and colors. I only purchase films that mean something to me, so while it may be worth only the reels to you, it is so much more to me.

I totally agree with you, Don. Although I off course prefer a good color print, I have many red films I en joy a lot. Half of my 16mm features are totally red. With a blue gel filter it is almost as a black and white.

A pity the colour was off on these classic hammer films, I would have bid otherwise. The curse of Frankenstein from the same seller went for big money, but the colour had held up well. At least he had the decency to give a picture capture and accurate description. The seller is a decent guy to deal with and very helpful, the colour shift put me off but each to there own, I have the super 8 version of this but that has excellent colour.

Got this cutdown of NBNW from Nigel Higgins for a fiver at BSTR, one of my favorite movies. I didn't know the colour held up on any of these. Definitely a keeper!

Yes, I don't know how they managed to cram it all in, but they get most of the plot points without appearing to hurry.

I don't have the 400' digest, but I do have its cover :-) I bought the full feature on 8x400, and one reel came in the box of the digest :-) A great film indeed.

Here are a few that I have gotten in over the last few weeks (Super 8's, with two 16mm). I have only been able to watch the two Roger Rabbit cartoons.

A bit irritating when you get some prints and are way too busy to actually watch them right away....
