RE: What are your most recent film purchases?

Projected some semi-recently purchased cartoons last night:

DONALD'S OSTRICH and FROG POND off ebay
PARROTVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT and (not pictured) an unknown 70s Polish cartoon with Italian titles (UNO STRANO CACCIATORE) from Bert/Super8Warehouse

Very good condition prints overall with minimal marks (especially after a light round of FilmGuard).
Some distracting moving brown printed-in marks plaguing the last 3 minutes of DONALD'S OSTRICH sadly.
Also have THE SNOWMAN on it's way to me just in time for the season.

All very nice prints Iman, well done! 😊

The Snowman is a lovely sharp print and you should be delighted with the image you project from it once it arrives with you.

I saw 4 x 400 ft Enter the Dragon with the clamshell box's on a stand at £150, I bought this from Derann for £130.00 sometime back, so maybe with a little haggling you could get it for a bit less.....

Nice ones there, Del. Lucky to own Mighty Joe Young too, both a 400’ and the 4x400’

Mine is stripey, perhaps try a run with Film Guard

Nice little lot there Del, mighty joe young, not seen that one before, good find I'd say......
David, great find with Fiend, not that common on 4 x 400 , and an above average " B " horror flick .....

Wow!! That is rare Del. TDRO on Fuji maybe?

All the ones I've seen now are well past their best.

Even harder to find now is Rocky from your list above. That really was some find!!! 😊😊😊

The Small One Del, 600 or 200 ft?
They are both wonderful films btw (I love and have both).

Any nice new treasure from your hometown Del?

The Small One is 200' unfortunately, yes really pleased with my latest additions, it's why I didn't go to Blackpool, had too many other irons in the fire so to speak.

Rocky looks gorgeous, nice and sharp with great colour but oh dear what have they done to the sound, Stallone doesn't need to heard like this, his voice is bad enough when the sound is good. Definitely one for the re record pile I think.

Very well done to both Del and Mark here again! I'm certain Rocky will sound as good as an early 80's Multiplex by the time you are finished with it Del and Stallone will sound clearer than Julie Andrews at an illocution lesson by the finish! 😂😂

The Small One is a priceless print in any length btw Del, just like The Snowman is.

Another great find Del, i have this but not in the original clamshell box's, and i doubt mine now has good colour, one of my favourite hammer horror films, with the great Charles Grey has ma carta, mine is probably more like "The Colour Run Out " than "The Devil Rides Out"............

The print i got from CHC has original boxes with good colour on 1, 2 and 4, but not too good on 3 for some reason. I mounted it on a 1600ft spool and it plays out great as a one hour+ feature.
