Wonderful acquisitions there Douglas!

I cannot wait to hear you reporting back on them all here, once you have had ample opportunity to watch them all. 😊😊

You have some really nice titles there Doug! I really like the box for "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer". :-)

Best wishes to David Ullom. He can be assured that the films he sold will be well taken care of and loved by the collectors who have obtained them. :-)

Poltergeist has landed. Will put up some screenshots toward the end of the week.
This is the flat version, would love to get hold of a scope version but after 20 years of having this as a want i am more than happy to have gotten hold of this one.

Have i told anyone i'm after Die Hard?

Just won Grease on (originally) 3x400', supposedly with good color (no screenshots but I bought it from a seller I have bought many things from and I trust). The film medium is thin and is fitted just on a 800'. This increased the chances a lot for my wife to want to see film with me :-)

Do you also project Standard 8mm nowadays Vidar?

I thought you collected Super 8mm only in the 8mm gauges until now.

Bought this recently

Never date. I also a couple of months ago bought Dirty Work. I still feel those bricks down the chimney.

I still love the smell of film in the morning

Dirty Work is superb. The other is just parts with dancing from different films, right?

]Yes, I know. Only in recent years I have found out the richness of 8mm films made available in Italy,Spain and other european countries beside England, mostly thanks to ebay and the demise of the big 8mm producing companies. Especially Italy is,I believe, the most prolific in both legal and "editione pirati". Of course most (American ones) are dubbed in their respective language but If one finds an original Italian or German or Spanish film and knows the language (or watches it with someone who knows the language!), it's a treat! As far as I know so far, most are "recent" productions,i.e. post 1950 and beware, most color films have turned to reddish.
Here is another rarity I acquired several months before. Bruno Bozzetto's feature WEST AND SODA (1965)

david, i would love to see a review and screenshots on this one when you have time. I came very close to asking for this one but we recently purchased poltergeist and a few others so am just building up some funds.
I do love a good Jerry Lewis comedy.
Well done there.

ooops, i did say i wouldn't make any more big purchases but Brothers request is for Waterloo and The Charge of the Light Brigade, (Trevor Howard version).

Well, with a pointer from "the other channel" i found a copy of Waterloo, so it is on its way from the states. Not scope unfortunately, (that one was a little of of my reach) but never the less, it is going to look great on the big screen. This is my first xmas pressy bought for this year (well, its from two or three of us)
Will review when its arrives.
