Thanks Vidar! I'll be checking all of them next week. Here's a film I got in just yesterday. I've always liked this odd science fiction film from the 1940's. The effects are pretty impressive for the era. (No CGI!)

I think I never seen a non-red version :-) Mine is totally red. But, a fun little digest, agreed

I expect my copy to be the same, but colored gels should help out some. From what I understand, this title never had good color even when new.

Received the 3 x 400ft version of when worlds collide so have sold the 400 ft version we had, this bought the cost down to £49 all in the original boxes and very joined. we shall be cleaning and viewing soon so will put up a review. Checked the first few minutes and aside very slight fade it looks to be in great shape.

Just had a stroke of luck, found a 400ft excellent colour copy of the china syndrome, as i understand it this is a very well edited version and has had lots of good reviews. Less than a tenner including postage so looking forward to this one.

I don't believe I've bought any film at all now for some 4 months or so.

I hope to be able to add one or two more though now at some point this year 😊

I got this one too, not yet viewed it. Jane Seymour too? I need to get it watched then, I like her :-) Battlestar Galactica was where I first got a crush on her

Hi Vidar - as Lassiter was an 18 certificate - they may be a little nudity present especially Jane Seymour - This morning I picked up from my post office the Iver print of The Groove Tube from Independent 8 - its in the same vein as Kentucky Fried Movie - a series of Adult based sketches - so looking forward to a good laugh.

I got this in on Monday: Unversal 8 Films digest of "Silent Running" (Super-8, 400' color / sound.) It's a new print and though I have yet to watch it, the seller (a very reputable fellow) said the color is very good.

Just bought another Little Rascals short titled "Spooky Hooky" (1936) from Blackhawk Films at a buy-it-now price on eBay. :-)

Got this in the mail today. This is a 16mm silent 400' news reel from Castle Film. It has footage from 1941 of the (in Norway) famous raid of Måløy by British commandos. The film is shot by the commandos during the raid.

All great films Vidar. I have Dirty Dozen myself but it has very little colour in it nowadays on mine. It's not Red, just more like Sepia, still a great watch though by having such a good storyline. The Original box for this was an absolute work of art. It was a brown clip down deep leatherette case with the title photograph beneath a clear plastic top liner. really nice quality case!

Reminiscent of one of those old 45's cases only slightly slimmer.
