That's very good to hear Del. He has had some decent stock of late has our Phil and when I finally get into film purchase mode again rather than film projection support mode,
What with Wittners and all, I wouldn't mind a mini shopping spree at Phil's place.
There are many titles that I believe, visitors would get first dibs on before they make it to list.

Just need to find out where we both stand on the projector front first mate.
I don't know about your good self Del, but my pot isn't a bottomless one that's for sure!

I won't be able to obtain everything my heart desires by any means, so we will just have to wait and see which way things turn out before I can say for definite whether or not I am able to see Phil's new place this side of Christmas.

Nice find though Del! I am really pleased for you mate.

I saw that one Del, I think osi on the other forum has said the negs were from Kempski and as good as they get, has been on ebay a couple of times too, and even those screen shots
look beautiful, well done, Gene Kelly even does a good turn in his knee high boots, a film that gets overlooked mostly not sure why, a lovely looking film.

I completely agree with you there Paul. Every shot I've ever seen of this print looks absolutely superb!
The kempski prints are without doubt, some of the very best ever to be found on 8mm.If it's an actual Kempski release, the sound quality is also always of a particularly high standard in my experiences of owning one or two of these.

By the time Derann were printing from these same negatives, I would have thought it could have been hit or miss depending on the era of purchase.

I do hope Del runs this again soon and captures some shots for us all to drool over!😂😊

These were taken sat at a distance of around 14' onto a 6' screen, even these don't do it justice.

It's when you see print quality of this standard, that it makes us all realize of why we simply adore this wonderful and fascinating hobby of ours!

Now that's what I call Super Super 8mm!!

Got a email in work last night asking if anyone still collected old 16mm film........hahah ...left my mobile on return mail and this morning got a call.Went to a house in Plymouth and picked up 15 war documentaries and a Grafflax 16 mm spare bulb for £20.
Not a bad mornings work don't know what works or if the films are OK as it was a case of buy and go,so will have to wait a week or so as having a short break.
From quick glance they are Castle documentaries silent double perf, apparently all imported back from New Zealand in the late seventies along with the projector.
This could be fun will post more in time. 📽 i📽📽

Vidar, does the Tarzan have the Dutch subtitles, I had Tarzan's Desert Mystery and that did, I believe they all did. Some great titles there by the way, your one heck of a collector.

I think they all did mate as I think that's where they originated from, I'll be honest I didn't find it too distracting, sure you'll enjoy it.

F.A.O. Del....

There is another odd single reel of Alien on ebay right now mate which I'm sure you're following.

If it isn't reel 4, which from memory, it isn't, you're half way to owing the feature for a snip of a price!

Well done mate. 😊😊

GIGI for me, mint also I was pleased to see. Another chalked off my musicals "most wanted" list. Now to find the same in "Wizard Of Oz" or " Victor Victoria" or "The King & I".

For that matter a mint Derann "Grease" or "Singin' In The Rain" wouldn't go a miss either!

Do not remember, but it was at least a 2x400' The Electric Horsman, a couple of Caprino animations. I guess it cost me about 35 pounds or so in value of swap

Nice trade Vidar! I would easily let "The Electric Horseman" go in a trade. I saw it once on VHS...and never had a desire to watch it a second time.
