We recently enjoyed an evening of film with our 1 year old grandson. This was a quick temporary set up in the living room as there is construction progressing in the lower level projection area.

We watched a 16mm 'Curious George' short and a digest of the 1971 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, called 'Delicious Inventions'.

A fun tamily time!

I think you mean WILLY WONKA!

The 1971 version didn't use the original book's title.

When my kids were small, they ran down to watch when they heard me watching a film. Every year, their interest waned more and more. They're adults now, but unmarried, so I still have a way to go before I have grandkids!

Yes! You are absolutely correct. It was “Willy Wonka….”—-in my mind far better than the Johnny Depp remake….
