The director of the classic horror film "The Exorcist",and the classic crime thriller "The French Connection" has died aged 87 .
Other film credits included To Live and Die in LA,Cruising,and Rules of Engagement to name but a few.
I am sure over the years many members have seen his films and have a film of his in super 8 or 16mm.There always seems to be a 400ft of The French Connection for sale on ebay.
Another sad loss to the film industry.
