Premier Rewind Arms

These old rewind arms are very solidly built. I could never really work out why they were sold as a pair but only having the winder handle on one.
After several years of managing with one pair, i have now acquired a couple of pairs which now means i do at least have two proper pairs with handles, but i've noticed that the bodies of the latest pair i bought seem a bit more chunky. Were there different versions of these as they both take the 2000ft spools and one pair came with super 8 adapters which is a nice bonus.
I was surprised to be the only bidder of a pair with handles for a tenner but obviously very pleased.

I have two types of Rigby Premier rewinds.
The early ones had square shafts which only hold 16mm.
The much later ones had round shafts with a locating pin, These hold 16mm and also standard 8.
Both will hold up to 2000ft/2200ft

Thanks Maurice,
Both of the ones we have also take STD 8 spools, the newer ones seem even sturdier even though all of these arms are well built. Mind you, with the weight of 16mm 2000ft spools they would have to be.
